Not Your Typical FAQS

Chantel is a woman of many talents. The better question would be, “What can’t she offer?” She does a little bit of this and a little bit of that. If you want more specifics, it’s best you get to know her personally but since you came all the way here (and let’s be real, in the age of AI, who actually puts in the effort) it’s only right that you get what you came for.
Chantel is an actress turned writer and although her immigrant parents are supportive, it still makes zero sense to them. Her main focus is writing for children’s media and children’s literature. After years of directing and teaching youth theatre, she finally found her way back to the youth! Chantel is very passionate about telling stories that inspire others to use and realize the power of play and their imagination while putting marginalized identities at the forefront.
She’s also a professional at storybook theatre and toddlers rave about her performance. Honestly, she’s shocked she never moonlighted as a birthday princess.
When she isn’t writing, she’s mentoring 5th graders on how to write screenplays, consuming way too much reality television on Bravo, backpacking the world, trying to beat her boyfriend at chess, or yelling “NUMBER ONE ANSWER!” at the screen while watching Family Feud with her mom.

Yes! She’s a songwriter and she sings, too. It’s a “hidden talent” because she doesn’t really do it publicly. But here’s some of her music. She’s actually pretty good. Take a listen down below!
